The Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation, in partnership with the Parrish Charitable Foundation introduced the 2024 Class of Charlie Pride Fellows. The Parrish Charitable Foundation serves as the title sponsor for this program that is in its fourth year.
A little over 250 college students applied for this opportunity to spend their summer working for the World Champion Texas Rangers. Five outstanding individuals with uniquely diverse backgrounds who stood head and shoulders above the rest were selected. This year’s class was welcomed Tuesday May 28th as the Rangers hosted the Diamondbacks.
Their summer journey will include extensive opportunities in the baseball and business departments of the Rangers front office. The goal: Assistance in laying the foundation for their post graduate careers. This intern quintet has representees from HBCU’s, private university’s as well schools in the Big Ten.
