2024 EXITO LATIN GALA AND AWARDS

The Excito Latina Gala and Awards ceremony was held October 24th 2024. This annual gathering recognizes Latino leaders across various fields in the metroplex. The objective is to honor unique individuals that are a source of pride and inspiration to the Latino community. The event also serves as a fund raiser for Latino scholarships to support aspiring college students in their pursuit of education and success. In 2023, a special award was created to recognize a non-Hispanic individual who has made significant contributions to supporting underprivileged Latinos. The first recipient in 2023 was Jim Ross, the Mayor of Arlington, Texas. This award highlights the efforts of allies who are instrumental in the Latino community’s progress. “This year, we would like to honor Mr. Roland Parrish, CEO of the Parrish Charitable Foundation with this award. His unwavering support and dedication has made a substantial impact, helping numerous individuals enhance their lives and seize new opportunities. Mr. Parrish’s commitment to our cause is both inspiring and outstanding.” words form Diana Rochin, the founder of ‘The el Club Del Excito’.
Roland and his wife Jewel proudly and graciously accepted this award at the ceremony in Arlington. The Parrish Charitable foundation and Parrish Restaurants have championed the Latino community since the inception of their endeavors in business, including but not limited to scholarships, generous employee benefits, and bikes & bibles for the youth.
