As added value, there are iconic keynote speakers who grace the stage, aiding in all items previously mentioned. For the silver celebration, Hall of Famer and NBA Champion Julius Erving, also known as Dr. J was selected with this honorable task. Joining him would be Olympic Gold Medalist Jackie Joyner Kersee, as the moderator for the conversation.
Prior to their portion, there was a surprise honoree. Roland Parrish was presented with the ‘Destiny is Mine’ award by Joyner Kersee, and presented with a relay baton, symbolizing the theme for the day working together to achieve all our goals.
