To tip off the month of March, also Women’s History Month – W.O.M.E.N. (Women of Mavs Empowering Network) held the 4th annual Women’s Symposium.
This event featured former Mavs CEO Cynt Marshall who served as the keynote speaker, along with an assortment of renowned speakers and leaders from Texas and beyond.
The theme of “empowerHER: Leading with Purpose”, women from all walks of life and all business sectors were represented. With only a handful of males in attendance, one was recognized with the SupportHER Award.
Roland Parrish graciously accepted the honor for his ongoing philanthropic efforts that support young women in the metroplex. Mavs Legend and member of the 2011 NBA Champions, Shawn Marion was present to support.
