ROLAND PARRISH RECONGIZED with the impact award
Who doesn’t love food? The Southern Taste of Dallas Awards does an amazing job of honoring the best of the best when it comes to Black owned restaurants in the metroplex. Held at The Kessler Theater – an Oak Cliff treasure, the house was packed!
Categories including, favorite BBQ, Favorite Chicken Spot, Favorite Wings and Favorite International Cuisine among others – twenty different awards were distributed to Black Business owners. Within those twenty, there are three unique awards, one of which is the Impact award – Roland Parrish was the 2025 recipient. In addition to being awarded, the Parrish Charitable Foundation sponsored the food truck for the awards show.
