8th Annual Von Miller Day

He is a 2x Super Bowl winner, was the MVP of Super Bowl 50, 8x Pro Bowler, 3x All-Pro, was the 2nd pick in the 2011 NFL Draft after becoming an All-American at Texas A&M. He hails from DeSoto Texas. He is Future Hall of Famer Von Miller. For eight years, the city of DeSoto has celebrated its own on Von Miller Day, and 2025 was no different. One of DeSoto’s finest and most decorated players ever ‘put on for the city’. Current and former teammates from the NFL, Texas A&M and DeSoto made appearances to support. Political representatives from local, and state level attended. The event was filled with food trucks, bounce houses and for the kids, raffles, and giveaways – and it was all free for the DeSoto community. The Parrish Charitable foundation once again partnered with Von Miller to support his initiates, including Von’s Vision that provides eye wear for the youth.

CBS Texas covered the event as well, click below to see the exclusive interview with Von.
