The Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce held the 2024 Cowboy Couture Gala at the Astoria Event Venue in Irving Texas. The Parrish Charitable foundation served as the presenting sponsor of the Gala. The Honorable Helen Giddings was presented with the Roland G. Parrish National Award for excellence in business leadership and service. Attorney and restaurant owner Kevin Kelley was named Entrepreneur of the year.
Attendees included Pastor Bryan L. Carter and the First Lady of Concorde Mrs. Steph Carter. Senator Royce West, along with Harrison Blair and Randall Bryant who serve as the Executive Leadership of the DBCC. The annual event is a signature moment yearly with a focus placed on fundraising and the celebration of business owners of color. Inspiring trail blazers are recognized while attendees are encouraged to network in the name of community engagement and entrepreneur enlightenment.
