The Parrish Charitable Foundation, partnered with the Dallas Urban Debate Alliance, and the Dallas Independent School District to host the 6th annual DUDA Invitational.
A group of 34 students participated in the 2024 competition. Carrington Coleman along with Akerman Capital Management served as evening sponsors for the celebration dinner. During the celebration dinner for this event, $18,000 in scholarships were awarded to the finalist.
Each of the six students who excelled and advanced to the championship round were awarded scholarships of $3,000 a piece. During the event, Roland Parrish was recognized with the 2024 DUDA community leadership award. During their six year partnership, The Parrish Charitable foundation has contributed $30,000 to DUDA.
