PCF Partners with Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce

The Parrish Charitable Foundation, represented by Roland Parrish has partnered with the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce. This partnership has launched one of the first business grants for a start-up. Back in 2021, when we introduced the President’s Micro Grant at the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce, our goal was simple but bold: provide real capital to help entrepreneurs take that critical first step. One of the very first grants we awarded was $5,000 to Dr. Lauryn Peeler of Refined Chiropractic-a visionary Black woman entrepreneur building a practice focused on wellness and healing in our community. Thanks to the generosity of Mr. Roland Parrish, that grant was immediately doubled. He matched our contribution dollar for dollar, turning our $5,000 into $10,000 of catalytic funding.

While it was the Chamber’s first business grant of this kind, it was far from Mr. Parrish’s first time investing in Black-owned businesses. His leadership helped us send a clear message: when we invest in our community, especially at the start, we change the trajectory of what’s possible.
