The Big Ten Network inducted Roland Parrish into its #B1GImpact Pioneers class of 2025. This honor recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to Big Ten athletics. The 2025 class includes athletes from various sports and universities, with a focus on breaking barriers and achieving excellence. Running was always a passion for Parrish since he was a youth. He dominated the track as a 2x MVP and still holds the Purdue Track 1000m program record (2:21.9) set in 1975. Parrish set eleven records, was a 6x Big 10 champion, all while holding the crown as team captain as a four year letterman.
