THE CLARK SISTERS SHOW UP AND SHOW OUT!

TOGETHER WE SING UNITY AWARDS: A NIGHT OF HOPE AND INSPIRATION.

The 4th annual Unity Awards proved to be a night all in attendance will never forget. The Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center in downtown Dallas served as the venue. Project Unity united key individuals in the metroplex, honoring a select few with their “Together We” awards, recognizing faith leaders, corporate executives, and individuals who championing the cause of racial healing and harmony. Roland Parrish was the recipient of the Trailblazer award, which is presented to an individual who is blazing new paths to confront and dismantle racism.

Mr. Hiawtha Williams representing Williams Chicken was recognized with the Unity Award, along with showing support for Parrish, a fellow businessman and close confidant.

This ceremony was accompanied by a carefully curated spectacular soundtrack featuring an outstanding orchestra, charismatic composers, and vivacious voices. The Iconic Clark Sisters showed up and showed out! The legendary group from the Midwest put on a performance confirming they are more than worthy of their hall of fame credentials and endless awards.

The lively Leon Lacy was electric in conducting the choir, orchestra and the ancillary parts perfectly weaving the sounds together.

The legacy of seven-time Grammy Award winner Shaun Martin was felt throughout the building as a tear-jerking tribute was delivered. The founder and Chief Visionary of Project Unity, Sr. Pastor Richie Butler, delivered a memorable vocal performance backed by the Unity Choir. Butler working closely with Toska Medlock Lee, who is instrumental as always in constructing elaborate events served as the producer of this unforgettable night.
